Patricia van den Akker - creative business adviser, trainer & coach
Dream Plan Do was Patricia's idea, and is the result of training and coaching 1,000s of creative businesses for more than 15 years.
Over the years she has worked with a wide variety of organisations including Etsy UK, Not On The High Street, University of the Arts London & Central St. Martins, Top Drawer, Made London, 100% Design, Design Junction, Yorkshire Art Space and Emergents and many many more. In the last 5 years she wrote for Crafts Magazine a regular business column called The Design Doctor (published by the Crafts Council of England).
Patricia is known for her practical but strategic approach, her inspirational and can-do attitude, her creative and thought-provoking questions and her passion to help creatives build better businesses.
For years Patricia wanted to make her approach more accessible to a wider range of creative businesses, and the Dream Plan Do planner journal is the result: it's like the coach you wish you could afford.
Yeshen Venema - photography & video
Yeshen runs the agency Yesh & Tash alongside his wife Natasha.
He has become the 'Designer/Maker's favourite Photographer' according to creative expert Katie Treggiden.
He did a marvelous job in creating the Kickstarter intro film for Dream Plan Do, and all the photography too.
Guy Sexty is an award-winning designer and typographer. He creates advertising, brand collateral and digital experiences for some of the world's biggest brands.
He also happens to be Patricia's husband!
Catherine Russell - Editor & copywriting
Catherine made sure that Patricia didn't waffle too much and that she didn't add too many Dutch-isms too. She is super-organised, and fabulous in spotting gremlins and dotting the 't's. Her copy writing helped our Kickstarter campaign sizzle and connect.
